Dr. Kuivinen is a General Surgery and Gastroenterology Physician with more than 20 years of diverse experience. He specializes in gastrointestinal diseases, colorectal cancer prevention and treatment, endoscopy, hemorrhoid treatment, robotic laparoscopic surgery, hernia repair, breast disease, benign and malignant skin disorders, and many other surgical aliments.

Dr. Kuivinen is a Cleveland, Ohio native. He graduated with honors from Oral Roberts University and obtained his doctorate from Wright State University School of Medicine. After completing his surgical residency at Cleveland Clinic Health System, he practiced in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon returning to Ohio in 2008 he practiced at Avita Health System and Bon Secours Mercy Health. At this time, he is a member of Premier Physicians Group in Westlake, Ohio.

He is an avid cyclist and marathon runner who shares an eclectic mix of music, travel and photography with his son.
